What is NAD+?
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a redox coenzyme central to cellular energy metabolism, supplied for research as a 1000 mg pre-filled multi-dose pen.
It is studied in longevity and metabolic research for its role in mitochondrial function and the NAD+/NADH ratio. Research outcomes vary with dose and protocol.
Reported side effects
- A flushing sensation is the most commonly reported effect when larger doses are given too quickly — injecting slowly noticeably reduces it.
- Mild, transient injection-site reactions.
How to dose NAD+
Two research schedules are used: 10–50 mg two-to-three times a week (rising to 20–80 mg), or 10–20 mg a day five days a week (rising to 20–30 mg). Inject slowly to manage the flush. The pen doses in 10 mg increments up to a 200 mg/day maximum.
